Dr. Elisabeth Garlington grew up in Nevada, Texas. She attended the University of North Texas for her undergraduate work and graduated Parker University with her Doctorate, a Bachelors in Anatomy, and a Bachelors in Health and Wellness. Dr. Garlington was active in the neurology club and was a part of the Student Executive Council during her time at Parker University.
Dr. Garlington is Board Certified (NBCE) in Physiotherapy and is currently completing her Diplomate in Functional Neurology. She has a special interest in treating people with conditions such as ADHD, autism, and dementia. Dr. Garlington has a passion for helping people who have had life altering experiences, and to help them gain their ability to return to activities they love to do. After suffering a traumatic brain injury in martial arts, Dr. Garlington gained her ability to continue martial arts, earning her Black Belt degrees in Tae Kwon Do and Jujitsu and pursue her other passions through her personal treatment of chiropractic care. These experiences developed her desire to become a Chiropractor in order to help others. Dr. Garlington has further seen the benefits of chiropractic treatment with her immediate family such as her brother, Chris, who suffered several debilitating football related TBIs and mother, Gwen, who has Rheumatoid Arthritis and spinal stenosis. All in all, it is Dr Garlington’s passion to help others.
